Air Filter
A car air filter is a component of a vehicle’s engine that is designed to trap dirt, dust, and other particles from entering the engine through the air intake system.
A car air filter is important because it helps to protect the engine from damage caused by dirt and debris.
A car air filter can be fairly easy to replace and can be performed by a professional mechanic or by the owner of the vehicle.
The car air filter should be replaced according to the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule, which is typically every 15,000 – 30,000 miles. However, if you frequently drive in dusty or dirty conditions, you may need to replace it more often.
The car air filter is located in the intake system near the throttle body.
To replace a car air filter, you should first locate the air filter housing under the hood of the vehicle. Open the housing and remove the old air filter and clean out any debris. Then, install the new air filter and close the housing.
