Any maintenance or repairs performed during the first 30 days or 1,000 miles after signup is not covered by any CarMagic plans. During this time, your Expert will manage everything for you, help you find a shop and make sure all work is done properly and at a fair price, but you will pay out-of-pocket for all work performed during this period.

If your vehicle has had a full inspection, completed all needed repairs and can provide sufficient documentation, it may qualify for immediate coverage.

You must have performed regular maintenance on your vehicle in accordance with the recommendations of the vehicle manufacturer under normal use. If a needed repair is due to the owner’s failure to perform regular maintenance, your claim may be denied.

A pre-existing condition is an existing problem or needed repair that a vehicle has before a plan is purchased. If your water pump is leaking before you register for a plan, it would be considered a pre-existing condition, and the associated repair claims would be denied.

Major mileage interval services that may include OEM-specific maintenance items including timing belt replacements, special fluids, capacities and additives that are not considered Routine Maintenance and are not covered.

Damage to the interior of your car including tears or holes in seats or interior surfaces, broken handles, knobs, moldings, vents and/or other controls, stains and/or burns.

Damage from environmental factors including water and/or flooding, salt, sand, wind, hail, vandalism, etc.

Any damage to tires, wheels and wheel covers unless specific plans are purchased to cover these items.

Any item that is an accessory or other non-factory part/component that has been added after the original manufacture of the vehicle is not covered. Any claims for repairs or irregular maintenance associated with such items may be denied.

Any alterations to the vehicle’s odometer, onboard computer, diagnostic systems, vehicle management and other systems will result in associated claims being denied.

For scheduled visits, your plan’s benefits are applied automatically as you have your car serviced. For maintenance or repairs performed outside of your regularly scheduled service, you must contact CarMagic for pre-approval, then following directions and upload any receipts.

To submit receipts for claims email claims@mycarmagic.com or call us at 1-866-942-2762. You will be alerted via email and within the CarMagic app when we have processed your claim.
